March 16: Sunol Regional Wilderness Hike 

  • Where: 1895 Geary Rd, Sunol, CA 94586
  • When: Meeting time at the Church is 7:30, for departure at 7:45.
  • What to Bring: Ten Essentials, Good “broken-in” boots, be sure to bring rain gear. 
  • Pickup Time for Scouts: TBD 

*If you are a Den Chief, please communicate with your den about getting them to come if you have not already. In addition, we will be planning the route next meeting. (Will be considering a 5 and 10 mile option, depending on how many scouts we have and how many AOL’s come. We do not have enough T24 Scouts on this outing as of now, and we’d appreaciate if you came so we can the AOL’s the best experience with T24 as possible.

March 23-24: Mt. Diablo State Park Carcamping (Camporee Practice)

  • Where: Mt. Diablo Group Campsite GWLC
  • When: Meeting Time at the Church is 8:00, for a departure from church at 8:30. For departing camp on Sunday, we expect to be out by 9:30. 
  • What to Bring: Ten Essentials, Light Camping Gear, etc. 
  • Pickup Time for Scouts: TBD 

*We ask if you are a new scout or have not been to Camporee recently and are planning to go this year, please consider going. We hope to do as well as we do in years past, and if you need any lower rank requirements, this could be a good place to knock some off. 


March 30: Thunder over the Bay

  • Where: Travis Air Force Base
  • When: Meeting time at the church is TBD, but expected to leave at 7:15 am. 
  • What to Bring: Wear Full Class A, phone for communication purposes. 
  • Pickup Time for Scouts: TBD 

April 6: Camporee Service Project

  • Where: Lake Berryessa
  • When: Meeting time at the Church is 7:00 am, and expect to depart at 7:15 am. (Arrival at Berryessa by 9:00 am.) 
  • What to Bring: Good Boots, Gloves, Ten Essentials, etc. 
  • Pickup Time for Scouts: TBD 

*Please be sure to bring a sack lunch for this outing. In addition, if you are trying to earn the ranks of Star or Life, I would recommend going on this outing so you can knock off service hour requirements. (We will also be laying out a orienteering course, for any young scouts who need orienteering requirements for ranks below Star and Life.)
