March 23: Mt. Diablo Carcamping
- Where: Mt. Diablo Group Campsite GWLC
- When: Meeting time at the Church is 8:00 am.
- What to Bring: Light Camping Gear, Ten Essentials, have an idea about Cordon Bleu dishes)
- Pickup Time for Scouts: TBD
*In order to do as well as we in years past, we ask that if you are planning on going on Camporee or are still on the fence, that you should go! It’s a great way to practice orienteering, cooking, or even some requirements for the lower ranks and merit badges!
March 24: Homeless Dinner (ONLY Sunday)
- Where: The Parish Hall, St. Mary Magdalen Church (Where we have meetings)
- When: Meeting time at the Church is TBD next meeting by Dominic
- What to Bring: Arrive in Full Class A, nothing else is required
- Pickup Time for Scouts: After cleanup ends
*If you are Star, Life, or First Class and below, this is a great way to knock off service hours and give back to the people who let us use this space for our meetings. It’s quick, easy, and a lot of fun. The plan will be to have a few scouts rotate in time slots, which will be coordinated next meeting.
March 30: Thunder Over the Bay
- Where: Travis Air Force Base
- When: Meeting time at the Church is TBD
- What to Bring: Please arrive in Full Class A (Neckerchief, Slide, Belt, etc.)
- Pickup Time for Scouts: TBD
April 6: Camporee Service Project
- Where: Lake Berryessa
- When: Meeting time at the church is 7:00 am, for departure at 7:15.
- What to Bring: Gloves, Ten Essentials, etc.
- Pickup Time for Scouts: TBD
*This is another great opportunity to get a feel for where Camporee is going to be if you are a first timer or haven’t been in a while. We will planning and constructing the orienteering course for the competition, with the possibility of some conservational service. The more people we have, the better this outing will be.
