March 23-24: Mt. Diablo State Park: Camporee Practice
- Where: Mt. Diablo Group Campsite GWLC
- When: Meeting time at the Church is TBD
- What to Bring: Light Camping, Gear, Ten Essentials, other Camporee materials. (More details and questions can be answered by the quartermaster.)
- Pickup Time for Scouts: TBD
March 24: Homeless Dinner Service
- Where: St. Mary Magdalen Church Parish Hall (Where we have meetings)
- When: Time for us to come TBD, but the dinner spans from 12-4pm.
- What to Bring: Wear Full Class A, no other materials necessary.
- Pickup Time for Scouts: Whenever the workers tell us to leave.
*This is a great easy and fun way to rack up service hours, which are important requirements for obtaining the Star and Life Ranks. In addition, this is a great way to give back to the people who let us use the Parish Hall as our meeting space, so we encourage all to attend.
April 6: Camporee Service Project
- Where: Lake Berryessa
- When: Meet at the Church at 7:15 am, for arrival at Lake Berryessa by 9:00 am.
- What to Bring: Gloves, Rain Gear, Ten Essentials, etc.
- Pickup Time for Scouts: TBD
*We will also be laying out the orienteering course for any scouts who may need an orienteering requirement or any who are currently doing the Orienteering Merit Badge. By going on this event, you’ll have a better knowledge of camporee, thus maximizing our troop’s chances of winning many of the competitions once again. Hope to see you there!
