The next meeting will be on 4/24 at the church. The Falcons will do the flags, the skills instruction will discuss the Family Life Merit Badge.
Herms District Camporee
When: Fri., Apr. 20-Sun.,Apr. 22: Meet at 4:45pm at the church.
Where: Lake Berryessa Recreational Area (map).
Details: A big competition of scout skills among local troops. Drivers are still needed – if you are able to drive please contact Luke T. and cc. SM Dave. Bring a packed dinner, there will be no cooking on Friday night. Bring a compass & whistle for the orienteering course. Bring a personal first aid kit, some spending money and lots of water.
Upcoming Events (Calendar)
- May 5-6: Dillon Beach.
- May 12: Bouldering at Ironworks. You can go climbing as well as work on a merit badge.
- May 19: 442nd Service. We will be doing the flag ceremony for this memorial service. The service is for the 442nd regiment which served in WWII. Lunch will be served afterwards.
- May 26-28: Memorial Day Backpacking. This will be the rarer opportunity to go backpacking for 3 days and 2 nights.
