Another successful Eagle Project completed! Jeremy worked with the Berkeley Path Wanderers Association to plan a flight of steps joining up a dead end on Lincoln Avenue near Chestnut Street, with the West Street pathway. The existing sloping path up the hill was preserved for the continuing use of cyclists.
A neighbor stopped by and shared some history of his block. Linda Maio, Vice Mayor of the City of Berkeley, made a point of visiting the work party by to say thank you.
Once again, this eagle project brought together scouts who have done many service projects over the years, with younger scouts who are still too young to wield a pickaxe.
