February 10: Scout Sunday
Where: The Church. (Directly above Parish Hall)
When: 9:30 am to 10:30 am
What to Bring: Yourself, please wear Full Class A.
Pickup Time for Scouts: 10:30 (When mass ends)
*The purpose of this outing is to recruit and show churchgoers what a Boy Scout looks like. There are many students at the school of the madeleine who attend church and are also AOL’s/Webelos, so if you want to represent Troop 24, we welcome you to attend.
February 16-18: SHASTA SKI TRIP
Where: Mount Shasta
When: Meeting time at the church is TBD
What to Bring: Heavy Camping Gear, Ten Essentials, extra waterproof and insulated layers.
Pickup Time for Scouts: TBD
*This event is one of the biggest and most fun events that Troop hosts, and according to Dave, there was nearly 8 feet of snow near the top of Mount Shasta, and when it comes to skiing and snow sports, those are great conditions. However, If you are a young scout and haven’t gone snow camping before, I suggest that you look at the provided snow camping list below. Hope to see you there!
