The next meeting will be on 5/29 at the church. The Puddle Ducks will perform the flag ceremony, the skills instruction will be about performing skits and the patrol corners will talk about Wolfeboro planning.
Memorial Day Backpacking
When: Sat., May 26-Mon., May 28: Meet at the church at 6:45am.
Where: Big Basin Redwoods State Park (map).
Details: Bring a pack lunch for Saturday.
Upcoming Events (Calendar)
- May 28: Memorial Day Flag Planting. (Note: This is not a formal Troop 24 event.) There is flag planting at Sunset Cemetery at 8:00 am. This is similar to the Veteran’s Day Flag Planting. Please show up in full class A. No permission slip is needed.
- Jun. 2: Fages II – This will be the only 20 mile hike of the year. We will hike around the Tilden area. Lunch will be provided. This hike is required for Philmont and required if you plan on doing the hiking merit badge.

- Thanks to all parents who legibly write their scout’s name and purpose of payment on the memo. line of the check! It would also help if you write the amount clearly. If you absolutely must pay with cash, please attach a note with the scout’s name and purpose of payment. We much prefer either checks or PayPal as it is much simpler to track for everybody.
