The next meeting will be on 3/27 at the church. The Falcons will do the flags, the skills instruction will deal with Camporee scout law and patrol corners will give an overview of Camporee.
Sierra Azul Hiking
When: Sat., Mar. 24: Meet at the church at 7:45am.
Where: Sierra Azul Hiking (map).
Details: Bring a pack lunch. This is a Philmont required hike.
Upcoming Events (Calendar)
- Mar. 28: Swimming test. Please be at King Pool at 7:30pm.
- Mar. 29: Holy Thursday Service Project. We light the driveway for parishioners. Starts at 8:30pm at the church. Please bring a flashlight.
- Mar. 31: Council wide shooting sports. You can work on your rifle or shotgun merit badges. This will const $10 per scout. Talk to SM Dave for more information.
- Apr. 7-8: Monterey Camping. We will hike & practice for Camporee. We might visit the Dennis the Menace park.
- Apr. 14: Sacramento Train Trip: The troop will take the Amtrak train to Sacramento. We will visit the Capital building, the Old Town, and tour the Train Museum.
- Apr. 15: Lake Berryessa Service Project (map). Earn service hours by doing service for Lake Berryessa. This is also when the Camporee orienteering course is set up.
- Apr. 21-22: Camporee. A big competition of scout skills among local troops. The more people that go, the easier it is to get Presidential, or the highest rank overall.
- May 5-6: Dillon Beach.

- The shooting sports event on March 10 has been canceled/postponed.
- Please use your son’s scout account as the primary means of payment. See here for more details (link).
- Thanks to all parents who legibly write their scout’s name and purpose of payment on the memo. line of the check! It would also help if you write the amount clearly. If you absolutely must pay with cash, please attach a note with the scout’s name and purpose of payment.
