Each year at Wolfeboro, the scouts at camp can elect T24 scouts to become members of the Wolfeboro Pioneers. The Wolfeboro Pioneers is an honor society and is one of the few that has not been absorbed by the National Order of the Arrow honor society.
Once inducted, a scout can wear the pioneer neckerchief and has certain privileges and responsibilities at camp.
The more T24 scouts at camp, the more can be elected each week. Up to 10 scouts can elect one. If there are between 11 and 20 scouts, then two can be elected, and so on.
In order to be elected, a scout must meet certain criteria in terms of rank and number of nights of camping. Roughly speaking, you need to be First Class and have been to Wolfeboro twice.
