PLC is short for Patrol Leaders Council, and is the monthly planning meeting for the Troop’s youth leadership. While it is mandatory, there is generally pizza and food during the councils (please bring $3-5 to help pay for food costs).
The meeting usually includes the following youth Leaders
- Senior Patrol:
- Senior Patrol Leader
- Assistant Senior Patrol Leader
- Scribe
- Quartermaster
- Troop Guide
- Patrol Leaders from each patrol (either the Patrol Leader or their Assistant Patrol leader if the Patrol Leader can’t make it) should attend
The agenda usually includes
- Review of past outings
- Planning future outings and meetings
- Tracking Patrol progress
- Tracking Troop progress against a set of agreed upon goals created by the Troop leadership.
