Leadership Camp Out

When: Sat., Sep.  10-Sun., Sep.11: Meet at the church at 9:45am on Saturday. The intent is to return before noon on Sunday.
Where: San Mateo County Memorial Park.
Details: Leadership overnight camp out to finalize the 2016-17 schedule. Members of the senior patrol, patrol leaders, assistant patrol leaders, and troop guides should attend. Bring a bag lunch, mess kit, the 10 essentials and camping gear.

Solano Stroll Climbing Wall

When: Sun., Sep.  11: Starts at 3:30pm and finishes around 5pm.
Where: Solano Stroll Climbing Wall on lower (west) Solano Avenue.
Details: Wear your Class A uniform!

Upcoming Events (Calendar)

  • Sep. 17, 2016: Coastal clean up at Point Richmond, details to follow. This is an annual service opportunity which involves picking up trash along the coast. The time is yet to be  determined but typically starts around 8-9am.
  • Sep. 18, 2016:  Note, this is a change!Joaquin Miller Park Orienteering: A great opportunity to practice orienteering skills before Scout O. This is not a competitive event!
  • Sep. 24, 2016: Advance Camp. It is not too late to register. See ASM Roy’s emails for details.
  • Oct. 9, 2016: This year the Scout-O is back at Tilden (park at Lake Anza). Troop 24 always has a great showing at Scout-O, keep up the tradition and take part. Wear Class A to/from event, bring water, lunch, 10 essentials, good footwear, long pants, etc. Make sure to get a partner and determine the course you wish to run. Courses are white to orange, easiest to hardest.

Notes

  • The Seabase crew are still in arrears. Please help them by bringing cans & bottles so they can recycle them.
  • Thanks to all parents who write their scout’s name and purpose of payment on the memo. line of the check! At present, checks are the preferred means of payment, but we take cash or Paypal ☺.
