The next meeting will be on 3/20 at the church. The Hawks will do the flags, and the skills instruction will cover stretcher building first aid.
Sunol Backpack Trip
When: Sat., Mar. 17-Sun., Mar. 18: Meet at the church at 7:30am on Saturday for pack check.
Where: Sunol. Map of area.
Details: Brink a pack lunch for Saturday. This is a Philmont required backpacking trip.
Upcoming Events (Calendar)
- Mar.17: Pack 30 Pinewood Derby. A great recruitment opportunity for the troop. Contact SM Dave if you wish to go. Please be at the church from 1-4pm.
- Mar. 24: Sierra Azul Hiking (map).This is a Philmont required hike.
- Mar. 29: Holy Thursday Service Project. We light the driveway for parishioners. Starts at 8:30pm at the church.
- Apr. 7-8: Monterey Camping.
- Apr. 14: Sacramento Train Trip: The troop will take the Amtrak train to Sacramento. We will visit the Capital building, the Old Town, and tour the Train Museum.
- Apr. 21-22: Camporee. A big competition of scout skills among local troops. The more people that go, the easier it is to get Presidential, or the highest rank overall.

- The shooting sports event on March 10 has been canceled/postponed.
- Please use your son’s scout account as the primary means of payment. See here for more details (link).
- Thanks to all parents who legibly write their scout’s name and purpose of payment on the memo. line of the check! It would also help if you write the amount clearly. If you absolutely must pay with cash, please attach a note with the scout’s name and purpose of payment.
