Note: The August 29  meeting will be held at Live Oak Park (map) instead of at the church.

Leadership Overnight

When: Sat., Aug. 26-Sun., Aug. 27, meet at 8am at Camp Herms.
Where: Camp Herms parking lot (map).
Details: If you have any leadership position it is highly recommended that you attend.

Kickoff BBQ

When: Sun., Aug. 27: 4:30-6:30pm.
Where: Memorial Park BBQ area (map).
Details: Please bring enough salad/side or dessert for 10 people according to your scout’s last name (A-M: Dessert, M-Z: Side/Salad). Please bring your own place settings.

Upcoming Events (Calendar)

  • Aug. 29: Work on communications merit badge at troop meeting.
  • Sep. 10: Solano Stroll Climbing wall. Attend the world famous Solano Stroll and represent our Troop! Show up in your Class A uniform and help run a climbing wall.
  • Sep. 16-17: Salt point Camping. More details to come.
  • Sep. 23: Advance Camp. If you plan on going, please contact Dave with your merit badge choices for the morning and afternoon with a spare in case one is not available or you finish quickly. See Dave’s email for more information if you are interested.

  • Note: Permission slips are attached to troop calendar events. If no check/cash is required, a scan of the permission slip can be emailed to permissionslip@troop24berkeley.org
  • Thanks to all parents who legibly write their scout’s name and purpose of payment on the memo. line of the check! Checks are the preferred means of payment, but we take cash or Paypal ☺.
