The next meeting will be on 3/13 at Camp Herms. This will be a Court of Honor.

NOTE: The Court of Honor will start with a potluck at 6:30pm! Potluck details:

N-Z: Salad
The Philmont Crew will be selling deserts.
Drinks and utensils will be provided by the troop.

Details: This is an opportunity for some nature related merit badges. More details to follow by email.

Upcoming Events (Calendar)

  • Mar. 11: PLC. Please show up at Norton Hall at 6:30 pm if you have a leadership position. Bring at least $3 for food.
  • Mar.17-18: Backpacking  trip.This is a Philmont required backpacking trip so the Philmont crew should go. If you are not in the Philmont crew you are still welcome to go.
  • Mar. 24: Sacramento Train Trip:The troop will take Amtrak to Sacramento.
  • Mar. 29: Holy Thursday Driveway lighting. We light the driveway for parishioners.
  • Apr. 7-8: Monterey Backpacking.

Notes

  • The PLC has been moved to March 11.
  • The shooting sports event on March 10 has been canceled/postponed.
  • The Order of the Arrow elections will be held at the 3/20 meeting. 50% attendance is needed for an election!
  • Note: Permission slips are attached to troop calendar events. If no check/cash is required, a scan of the permission slip can be emailed to permissionslip@troop24berkeley.org
  • Please use your son’s scout account as the primary means of payment. See here for more details (link).
  • Thanks to all parents who legibly write their scout’s name and purpose of payment on the memo. line of the check! It would also help if you write the amount clearly. If you absolutely must pay with cash, please attach a note with the scout’s name and purpose of payment.
