Leadership Overnight

Where: To be decided.
Details: If you have any leadership position it is highly recommended that you attend.  You can also attend if you do not have any leadership position if you want to.  Date and location still to be confirmed.  You must also turn in your permission slips at by next meeting if you wish to attend.

Kickoff BBQ

When: Sun., Aug. 27: 4:30-6:30pm.
Where: Memorial Park BBQ area (map).
Details: Please respond to the Evite by August 23 with the amount of food you will need.

  • Sep. 10: Solano Stroll Climbing wall. Attend the world famous Solano Stroll and represent our Troop! Show up in your Class A uniform and help run a climbing wall.
  • Sep. 16-17: Salt point Camping. More details to come.
  • Sep. 23: Advance Camp. If you plan on going, please contact Dave with your merit badge choices for the morning and afternoon with a spare in case one is not available or you finish quickly. See Dave’s email for more information if you are interested.

NOTE: Due to a church schedule conflict, the Tuesday Jun. 13 meeting will be held at Live Oak Park instead.

There will be no troop meeting on the following Tuesdays: Jun. 20, Jun. 27 & Jul. 4.

Wolfeboro forms: Due at the Jun. 13 meeting: (i) All participants must turn in Part C of the medical form. The form can be downloaded from here. (ii) Anyone participating in shooting sports needs to have two copies of the signed parental permission slip. (iii) Anyone with dietary restrictions needs to fill out the relevant form.

Wolfeboro Parent Orientation

When: Thu., Jun. 8: Meet at 7:30pm.
Where: We will meet in the church conference room on the upper level of the facility. Enter through the Berryman Street entrance east of the sanctuary.

Fages II Hike & Upcoming Events

Tue., Jun. 6 is a Court of Honour. There will be no troop meeting on the following Tuesdays: Jun. 20, Jun. 27 & Jul. 4.

Forms: (i) Anyone going to Wolfeboro or on the Fages II hike needs to have a current Part C of the medical form. The form can be downloaded from here. (ii) Anyone participating in shooting sports at Wolfeboro, needs to have a signed parental permission slip. (iii) Anyone attending Wolfeboro who has dietary restrictions needs to fill out the relevant form.

Fages II Hike

When: Sat., Jun. 3: Meet at 6:45am at the Wildcat Canyon Alvarado Trailhead.
Where: Wildcat Canyon Alvarado Trailhead.
Details: A 20 mile loop hike in Tilden Regional Park. Medical forms are required for this hike. Bring water & snacks.

Where: Hike from Lake Anza to Anthony Chabot Park.
Details: We still need more drivers, especially on Monday morning.  The pickup location will be the Protor Staging area on Redwood Rd.  (Google Maps). Please contact ASM Bill if you can help.

When: Sat., May 20: Meet at 11:15am at Roberts Regional Park.
Where: Roberts Regional Recreational Area.
Details: The  memorial honors the 442nd Regiment, a Japanese-American unit that fought in WWII. Wear your Class A uniform. There will be a pot luck lunch at noon.

Where: The Scout Hut at John Hinkle Park (map).

Angel Island Cycling Trip

When: Sat., Apr. 29: Meet at the church at 7:30am.
Where: Angel Island.
Details: Bring a helmet, functioning bicycle, $15 for the ferry (more if you want) and a small backpack to carry a pack lunch, water, snacks and additional clothes as weather dictates. Wear your class B uniform and a spare inner tube.
